I just totally networked
Ended up talking briefly with James Tabor because he remembered my hair from the audience of his talk. I think I managed to tell him I think he's wrong without sounding like a dick.

Ok, I may have been slightly less of not a dick when I drunkenly confronted him about the hypocrisy of claiming that Mary Magdalene was the ONLY Mariamne in Geek texts, based on late references, but dismissing the use of the same spelling for the Herodian queens in late mss. of Josephus.
